HORIZON COLLECTIVE
The Horizon Collective — created by and for women and gender-expansive leaders of color — is not your typical leadership program. It is a brave, unapologetic space where truth-telling, boundary-setting, and bold visioning are the norm. In Horizon Collective, we reject burnout culture, honor rest as resistance, and step fully into leadership rooted in authenticity, belonging, and community power.
YOUTH
PROGRAMMING
BWF's youth work started in 2004 with a simple idea — young women belong at the table where decisions are made. Over twenty years later, that idea has become infrastructure that is funded nationally, rooted locally, and shaped by young people, themselves. BWF's evolving youth programming operates through a dual approach that funds 3-5 community partners to lead their own youth programming with our participants and gives young people real grant- and decision-making power at BWF through our internal Youth Advisory Council.
GETTING PROXIMATE
CONVERSATIONS
To deepen our understanding of the biggest issues impacting persistently excluded communities, we bring in the experts — grassroots community leaders with relevant lived-experience. Together in these virtual conversations, we learn how we can become stronger allies and better support individuals impacted by systems of oppression.
