Grants from BWF amplify the voices of women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals who work tirelessly to create a just society free of racism and inequality. As a part of our commitment to community-led, participatory grantmaking, we rely on an Allocations Committee made of community members to help decide which organizations will receive funding. This approach decentralizes power by shifting it from foundations to the community.
