Boston Women’s Fund uplifts, advocates for, and invests in women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals who are leading grassroots organizations and systems change. Together we strive toward racial, economic, social and gender justice.
We envision a world where power, opportunity, and access exist for those persistently marginalized, regardless of gender identity or gender expression.

We do the legwork and due diligence of finding small, local grassroots organizations to support. Through our relationships with grassroots leaders, we have a unique proximity to historically excluded communities.

Getting Proximate Conversation Series
To deepen our understanding of the biggest issues impacting persistently excluded communities, we bring in the experts — grassroots community leaders with relevant lived-experience. Together in these virtual conversations, we learn how we can become stronger allies and better support individuals impacted by systems of oppression.
40th Anniversary Event-Next Stop: Liberation
We’re taking a moment to reflect and honor our past 40 years as we forge into our future. For the first time in a long time, we’ll bring our diverse community together and will host our largest fundraiser to raise essential support for our mission.
